This project was designed on a vacant lot in Northeast Philly for Brightside Academy which is a daycare. We were tasked to design something that could be built quickly and cheaply (isn't that always the task?) so we designed this with the intention of it being built from a prefab steel building. Prefab comes from the latin which means it was fabulous before it got turned into a building. Not really, but it should. Anyway, we designed this thing to have a large colorful wall along the busy street side which acts as a billboard and encloses the side yard which doubles as the playground. A fun project.
